Participants and observers should apply using the on the website.

Participant places will be allocated through a selection procedure after 1st April 2005.

If there are vacancies, applications will continue to be accepted subject to availability and places allocated up to 1st June 2005.

Upon acceptance, participants and observers will be asked to send a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the fee by bank-to-bank transfer. If the participant/observer needs to withdraw at a later date, a refund will be given of the deposit if a replacement is found.

The fee includes:

  • The services of two expert pianists for four sessions with two grand pianos
  • The services of the National Symphony Orchestra of Belarus for eight three and a half hour sessions with orchestra (30 min break)
  • The services of a video recording engineer throughout the master classes using PAL video system. One blank video will be supplied per student.
  • Accommodation for seven nights in a self-catering apartment. An initial stock of basic items (tea, coffee, sugar, milk, and fruit) will be in the apartment on arrival. Bed linen and towels will be provided.

The fee does not include

  • Travel from point of origin to Minsk International airport and airport transfers from Minsk International Airport to city centre
  • Study scores – students should obtain scores and arrive with a thorough knowledge of them
  • Cost of meals – students can shop and self-cater or buy meals locally, which are cheap and readily available. €3 will buy a good lunch. €7 will buy a good dinner.

Further details about the apartments and options for hotel accommodation will be supplied on acceptance if requested. Students and observers will be met on arrival at the airport, and will be guided through the transfer to city centre using the airport bus followed by transfer to accommodation.
