B.        Accuracy – We Promise Real-Time Research For Your Project NeedsAlchemy Data does it’s own research, tapping the data at it’s source so your mailing information is as fresh as possible for every project.

C.        Project Evaluation – We Promise to Evaluate the Delivery Rate of Your Standard Format Projects Recovering and evaluating items returned by the USPS as “undeliverable” by the United State Postal Service (USPS) is vital in determining the success of any mailing project (this step is frequently omitted when Realtors piggyback on group mailings, or use bulk mailings and zip code saturations to deliver their marketing materials). Alchemy Data incorporates the USPS “return service requested” program as an integral part of the majority of its projects – it’s the foundation that supports our Guarantee!

1.        30 days after the project mailing date, Alchemy Data will collect from you all project mail-pieces returned to you by the USPS (Alchemy Data must receive all returns to ensure processing of any refunds due and development of delivery reports); and

2.        Within 60 days of the project mailing date, Alchemy Data will compile and deliver a Delivery Report illustrating the delivery statistics of your mailing.

II. Refund Policy – Terms and Conditions

A.   We Promise to Protect Your Project Investment – Following our receipt of your returns and within 60 days of the project mailing date, Alchemy Data will issue an individual per-piece refund of postage and service fees for each returned item meeting the following refund conditions:

1.        Apartment Resident Mailings – Standard Format, return service requested

a)       Alchemy Data will refund the individual per-piece postage and service fee for each item returned by the USPS endorsed specifically as “Undeliverable – No Such Number/Street” where existence of the apartment cannot be substantiated by Alchemy Data.

b)     In the event the total count of items returned by the USPS endorsed as “Other – Vacant” exceeds 25% of the total unit count of the apartment community, then for each item over the 25% ceiling, Alchemy Data will refund the individual per-piece postage and service fee.

2.        Homeowner Mailings – Standard Format, return service requested

a)       Alchemy Data will refund the individual per-piece postage and service fee for each Item returned by the USPS endorsed specifically as “Undeliverable – No Such Number/Street” where existence of the house cannot be substantiated by Alchemy Data.

3.        Homeowner Mailings – Custom Format

a)       Alchemy Data will refund the individual per-piece postage and service fee for each Item returned by the USPS endorsed specifically as “Undeliverable – No Such Number/Street” where existence of the house cannot be substantiated by Alchemy Data.

b)     When you choose the Custom Format for Homeowners, Alchemy Data omits the ancillary service request (return service requested), and adds the text “or current resident” after the name(s) of the owner(s). This ensures delivery to the current resident of the home on file with the USPS, regardless of whether they are renting the home, or are new owners whose purchase is not yet reflected in the Mecklenburg Tax Records. Please note that USPS policy dictates ancillary service requests take precedence over address line text placed after a name, for example “John Johnson or current resident” .

III. Waivers

A.   We Promise to Share Knowledge We Have regarding certain conditions that could adversely affect the delivery rate of your project; including, but not limited to unusually high vacancy rates for a particular community as evidenced by our preliminary research, or our experience with recent mailings to that community. Vacancy rates are affected by a number of factors (i.e., new facilities that have not had time to populate, older facilities undergoing renovation), and a real-time grasp of vacancy rates by apartment community is outside the scope of our service.

Should you choose to pursue a mailing project to a community where such evidence exists, Alchemy Data may require that you sign a waiver of a portion or total of our guarantee prior to initiating the project.

IV. Exclusions

A.          Alchemy Data will not issue refunds for mail-pieces returned by the USPS endorsed in any manner other than the exact endorsement wording specified in II. Our Refund Policy – Terms and Conditions (above).
