Cigar Holders

As a long time cigar smoker, I feel I have come up with a solution to a perplexing problem. I don’t sit down and smoke a cigar. Instead, I lightly puff on my cigar as I go about my business or as I trapse through the woods. This method often leads to a soggy cigar. To eleviate this, I turned out a cigar holder. The cigar holder is is sized to the type of cigar and holds the cigar while allowing the smoker to clamp the other end in his mouth. The holder has a hole through it into the mouth much as a pipe does. Truly revolutionary for those beplagued by soggy cigars.

Book Marks

I make 2 types of book marks. One slids between the pages of the book so as not to harm the pages. The other is similar in function to a paper clip in that it hooks onto the page. They both seem to work equally as well. I turn a small piece of moose antler or wood out and attach it to the bookmark to make it unique.

Ornaments and Baubles

The ornaments and baubles I turn out can be used as decorations or as light pulls or for a set of car keys – wherever you think you may need an ornament or a bauble. They can be antler or wood. The wood ornaments can also be woodburned with names, date or decoration.

Letter Openers

These openers are simple in their construction yet work very well. I turn a small pieces of wood or antler for the handle. The most striking letter openers I’ve made have been ones made out of maple burl.
