Each pool member must submit a list of 30 famous people (actors, actresses,ex-politicians, athletes,ex-athletes . . . ) who might pass into the next world(subject to review). The lists must be submitted to Alex L by 9:00 a.m. Friday12/15/03 and will be effective as of that date. The reason or method of passingbears no weight. It plainly must be the fact that the listed person has perishedto earn points for that person.1A. The Pool will end at 9:00 A.M. EST on 6/15/04 if there are at least 5 passingsthat have occured. If not, the pool will be extended and will end at the time wehave our 5th passing. If there is a tie at the end of the pool, the pot will bespilt regardless of the numbers of people who are tied.2. Points are earned by subtracting the deceased age from 100.2A. If your pick is above 100 in age you get no points, just a credit for a deathwhich can be used for towards the bonus points. (see rule 7).3. No Death Row Inmates are allowed. 4. No missing persons to date are allowed.5. No terrorists or members of Al-Queda are allowed (including Yassar Affarat).6. Entry fee is $20. Payable to the Alex L by 12/15/03.7. 25 extra points will be awarded to the person who picks the most people who passto the other side. If there is a tie for the most picked. The 25 points will be devidedby those people who are tied. 8. Pool members may trade any number of persons from one list to another member’spool list at any time.9. If any discrepancies in birthdate arise of passed individual, we will use Newsdayspress release of the death.10. The prize money will be awarded to the winner(s) 3 day’s after the pool ends.Once this 3 day period has ended the pool is official and there will be no changes.This means if after the 3 day period news of a passing has occured back while thepool was still active, the death will not count. (i.e. we found out about Art Carney’spassing 3 or 4 day’s after he passed.)
