+ Policies RENTAL POLICY

The customer hereby rents bicycle from i S.C.P / Bikerental Barcelona), subject to all terms and conditions of this agreement:

1. Trixi rents bikes only prior booking. 2. The rented equipment will be delivered to the customer’s hotel or at a meeting point. Rental day period starts at 10:00 h and ends at 20:00 h. Overnight rental can be agreed with Trixi. 3. The bicycles must be returned on the day and time shown on the Rental Contract. Customer delays, both on delivery and pick up of bikes, without notifying Trixi, will result in an additional charge of 5,99 € delivery / pick up fees + 2 Euro for every additional hour. At the end of the rental period the customer must return the bicycles to a Trixi representative and never to the hotel owners or attendants.

4. Delivery and pick-up of bikes can be requested for any hotel or other accommodation located in Barcelona city center (Zip-Codes: 08001 – 08002 – 08003 – 08005 – 08010 – 08018 – 08019).

RESERVATION, PAYMENTS, DEPOSIT 5.Bike reservations must be done at least one day before rental period begins (up to 20:00 h). But: if the customer needs a bike on the same day he may call (+34) 666 057 655 and check the availability. The customer can also reserve a bike by submitting the on-line form / reserving by email at www.bikerentalbarcelona.com When reserving from abroad or when reserving with more than a week in advance it is necessary to RECONFIRM once the customer has arrived to Barcelona. 6. Method of payment: cash only payed at the moment of the delivery for the complete rental period reserved. 7. Deposit: On delivery of the bike/s the customer will be asked for a security deposit (100 € per bike) unless he provides Trixi with proper ID( passport, driving licence or National Identity Card for EU-Citizens). The deposit will be refunded at the moment of pick-up. 8. Cancelations without charge are only admitted 24 h in advance. Cancelations after this time or at the moment of delivery will be fully charged according to the customer’s reservation.

9.The customer who signs the Rental Contract has to be at least 18 years old and will be responsible for payments and rented equipment.

10. Early return: If the customer returns the bike early no refund will be made.

RENTAL EQUIPMENT

11. The rented bicycles and equipment may only be used by the designated customer and the members of his/her party as mentioned in the Rental Contract.

12. The customer is obliged to take care of the rented materials and to protect them from damage, loss or theft. At the end of the rental period, a Trixi representative will determine the conditions of the rented materials. In case of any damage incurred during the rental period, the customer will be charged for the costs. The customer is obliged to lock the bicycle/s properly at all times when unattended. In case of loss or theft of the bicycle/s, components or any other accessories, Trixi will charge the customer the full cost of the missing items at market price.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY 13. Third party liability insurance coverage is included in the bicycle rental price. 14. The customer is responsible for adequate personal insurance coverage, as during the rental period, Trixi is not liable for any claims, body injury or harm, accidents, property damage or personal loss caused by weather, sickness, or any other causes whatsoever beyond the control of Trixi.

15. It is the responsibility of the customer and his/her group to respect Spanish traffic regulations.

16. Exclusive place of jurisdiction shall be Barcelona, Spain. This contract shall be governed by Spanish law.
