Hello everyone!  This is David.  It’s Thursday afternoon and I was about togo do e-mail so I thought I should write you first.Things went well Sunday afternoon at Keletume (kay-lay-TOO-may).  We had about 9,maybe 10 adults there.  That was great considering it was the main market day.  Last time we went there on the main market day we had to cancel the meeting becausenobody came.  Alfonse, the Aja Christian from Koyohoué (Ko -YO – hway) that’s beengoing with me, spoke and did a good job.  I gave a general overview of God’s work inthe Old Testament with an emphasis on His promises to send a Savior.  My plan fromhere is to talk about Jesus’ birth; His temptations (that lesson will introduce Satan aswell); His miracles; His teachings; His death, burial, and ressurection; salvation andfinally, judgment day.   If no one has responded to the gospel by then, we willprobably move on to another preaching point, but not until after I getback in June from our trip to the states.  Keep praying that God will bring people toHim in this village and that Robert,  the Aja Christian whose family lives in thisvillage, will keep coming with us.I went to Dedjihoué (day-jee-hway) with some of the Christians from Kadahoué (Kah – DAH- hway) but that meeting didn’t go as well.  Probably because, as I look back at myprevious e-mail now, we weren’t expected back until this coming Monday.  I went aweek early because Sunday morning the 21st Jacques, a Kadahoué Christian that Richard istraining to be an evangelist,  told Richard to tell me the Dedjihoué meeting was tobe the next day.  I gotready and went out to the village but Jacques never came.  I guess he realized laterhis mistake and couldn’t get a hold of me (we have no phone). Anyway, there was about 5adults there.  I talked about Adam and Eve. Please pray for next week’s meeting thereas we certainly don’t want this preaching point to die out. There have been more conversions at Dekpo (DECK-po) so I do believe it is the largestcongregation among the Aja now.One bit of bad news.  Adolph, an Aja Christian that Richard has been training to bean evangelist lied to and stole money from  the churches at Dekpo (DECK-po) andDandjihoué (don – JEE – hway).  Adolph told them that our team had a fund and thatthey were to give Adolph 3500 CFA a month which he would in turn to give to us.  Richard found out about it and had to confront Adolph.  Adolph apologized buthe didn’t seem very pentitent. Please pray that God will bring him to  godly sorrowthat will lead to true repentance.  We don’t want to lose him.Well, that’s it for now.  I’ve got to go mail this.  Hang in there and know thatwe love you!Grow in Christ,
