Prelub Plus gives you reliable technology and trouble-free operation backed by a comprehensive 12-month/2000-hour warranty on both new and remanufactured systems. Improved bearing designs, oil seal upgrades, and switching improvements make it the only system of its kind designed, tested, and proven tough enough to meet the demands of today’s heavy-duty diesels. Its ball bearing design eliminates all wear associated with the commutator end bushing. Customers in industrial applications report better than double the service life for the Prelub Plus starter compared to a conventional starter.

EXTREMELY FLEXIBLE

Two basic Prelub Plus starter models fit virtually all Caterpillar, Cummins, Detroit Diesel, and other heavy-duty diesel applications, and a special remote unit accommodates air starter applications. The system is easy to install as changing a starter. Simply remove your conventional starter and install the Prelub Plus starter. Attach two hoses, a pressure switch, and a simple wiring harness and you’re done. The Prelub Plus system is automatically wired to your machine’s existing start switch and ready for immediate, simple, and trouble-free operation.

FULLY AUTOMATIC

The system’s automatic switching blends the best of solid-state technology with the simplicity of electromechanical components for a dependable and compact package. Installation is a snap and maintenance a breeze. Special silver switch contacts and patented vibration protection are part of the package. Once the Prelub Plus starter is installed, the operator simply turns the keyswitch to “start” and the system does the rest. Your engine’s oil passages, oil filters, and all critical parts from turbocharger to crankshaft are pressurized with oil before anything in the engine moves, every time the engine starts.
